Dum Pukht Recipe



Ingredients:

1/2 kg Fat-Tailed sheep fat
1.5 kg Mutton leg
2 Potatoes
3 Tomatoes
2 Onion
6-7 Green chilies
1 big Lemon
50 gram Ginger
50 gram Garlic
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 & 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Take mud handi add fat-tailed sheep fat in it then add big size cut mutton leg and add tomatoes, potato, onion, green chilies, lemon, ginger, garlic and salt & pepper.
Add 1 & 1/2 cups of water, close it and cover the edges with flour.
Cook for 2 & 1/2 hour and don’t let steam go out.
Open it carefully after 2 & 1/2 hour.


Preparation Time:10 minutes

Cooking Time:2:30 hours

Serve:5 Persons
