Daal Gosht Recipe




Ingredients:

1/2 kg Mutton

4 cup water

1 cup Onion

1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

1 tsp Turmeric

1 tsp Khara masala

1 cup Tomato

Salt to taste

2 tsp red Chili powder

1/2 tsp Cumin powder

1 tsp Coriander powder

1/2 cup Oil

1 & cup Split Chickpeas (Boiled)

1/2 tsp Garam Masala

1/2 tsp Fenugreek Leaves

For Tarka:

4-5 tbsp Oil

1/2 tsp Cumin

3 Whole red chilies

5-6 Kari Leaves



Directions:
-In a pan add mutton. Water, turmeric, onion, ginger garlic paste, whole spices and mix well.

 Cover the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes on medium low flame or until the mutton gets tender.

-Remove the stock and keep it aside.

-Now add tomato, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, oil, salt and mix well. Cook for 5-6 minutes.

-Now add spilt chickpeas, mix well. Add stock and then let it cook for 12-15 minutes on medium low flame. (add water if required)


-Now add garam masala, fenugreek leaves, mix it well.
-For Tarka heat oil in a pan, add cumin,

 whole red chili, Kari leaves and cook for few seconds.


Preparation Time:15 minutes

Cooking Time:40-45 minutes

Serve:4-5 persons
