Navratan Pulao Recipe


Ingredients:

1 Cup Guard Basmati Rice

Water (As Needed)

1 Muslin Cloth

2 TBSP Fennel Seeds

10-12 Black Peppers

1 TBSP Coriander

5 Black Cardamoms

5 Green Cardamoms

1 TSP Mace

3 Star Anise

1 Cinnamon Stick

5 Cloves

1 TSP Cumin

½ Cup Peas

½ Cup Carrot

½ Cup Potato

½ Cups Green Beans

½ Cup Cauliflower

1 TSP Sugar

2 TBSP Cooking Oil

½ Cup Green Capsicum

200 gm Cottage Cheese

8 Almonds

8 Cashews

8 Raisins

1 Onion (Slice)

1 TSP Garlic (Chopped)

1 TSP Green Chili (Chopped)

1 TSP Ginger (Chopped)

Salt (As Needed)

1 Bay Leaf



Preparation:

1. Add water in a bowl, then soak the Guard rice for 30 Minutes

2. Put Fennel Seeds, Black Peppers, Coriander seeds, Black Cardamoms, Green Cardamoms, Mace, Star Anise, Cinnamon, Cloves, & Cumin in a muslin cloth. Fold it make a potli bag.


3. It’s time to prepare vegetable stock. In a pan, then add peas, carrots, Potato, Green beans, Cauliflower, Sugar, & Potli bag (which is filled with ingredients). Boil it until half done

4. Strain the water and separate the vegetables

5. Next, Add Cooking Oil in a Pan. Also add Green Capsicum & fry. Repeat this process for cottage cheese, Almonds, Cashews, Raisins, & Onion,

6. Then fry Garlic, Green Chili, and Ginger in a pan. Also add soaked rice, Boiled vegetables, Fried Onions, Vegetable Stock, and Salt, mix these all & simmer it for 10 Minutes.

7. Spread the fried capsicum, fried Cottage Cheese, fried Dry Fruits (Almond, Cashew, and Raisin) & mix.

8. Your Tasty Navratan Pulao is ready to Serve
